The Oswego State men's and women's swimming and diving team fell to Oneonta Saturday, Oct. 26, in their second meet of the season at Laker Pool.
On the men's side, the Lakers came in first in the 200-yard medley with a time of 1:41.70 for 11 points. Andrew Minnick came in first for the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.38 for a total of nine points.
Pasha Rusakov placed first for the boys 50 yard freestyle in 22.43 for nine points. Rusakov also placed first in the 100-yard freestyle in 49.76 and earned nine additional points.
The men also placed first in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:30.29 for 11 points.
For the women, the Lakers had three place in the 100-yard breaststroke. Katie Flood came in first at 1:12.05 for nine points. Maya Kaplan came in second at 1:19.12 for four points and Emily Karszes came in at third at 1:20.96 for three points.
Oswego also finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:55.38 for 11 points.
Oneonta finished first on both sides, with 150.5 points for the women and 130 points for the men while Oswego finished with 78.5 and 113, respectively.
Oswego will return to action Saturday, Nov. 2, when they travel to Wells College to take on the Express at 1 p.m.
