Since adding its Luxury Piercing Experience in 2025, the wellness center continues to nurture an educational environment by hosting The Advanced Fundamentals of Helix Piercing with Jef Saunders on August 23 at 6pm.
Aqua Spa Float Center & Wellness Boutique Owners - Tammy Wilkinson & Terry LeRoi have been deeply rooted in the piercing industry with over 30 years in business as LeRoi Fine Body Jewellery. Combining that experience with holistic wellness, self-care and self-expression is the educational concept with the Luxe Piercing Experience and Workshop Series at the Aqua Spa Float Center.
Past Luxe Piercing Workshop Series classes have included internationally recognized names in the piercing industry (The Art of Luxury Piercing with Ruben Triguero, a senior French Piercer, piercing stylist and International educator & Piercing Techniques with J’son D’souza, 20 years of piercing and educational experience around the globe). Jef Saunders is no different.
Saunders has been a professional piercer since the late 1990s and is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). He has shared his expertise in piercing education around the world through private lectures, the Fakir Intensives, and classes for the APP, UKAPP, LBP, APPE, BMXNet, AUPP, APP Brazil, and GEP.
He also writes extensively about professional piercing through his Piercing Nerd blog on Patreon and has contributed articles to The Point, The Journal of Emergency Nursing, and the revised and expanded edition of The Piercing Bible.
Saunders has served the APP in many capacities, including as President from 2016 to 2018. His dedication to the advancement of professional piercing was recognized with the APP President’s Award.
Saunders’ class on August 23rd was developed specifically for piercing professionals and has only 10 seats available.
