Palermo Community Church Announces Faith-Based K-12 Programs

Palermo Community Church would like to invite area families to attend their upcoming Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls Open House on Wednesday, September 30 at 6:30 PM at Palermo Community Church.

Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls are Christ-centered programs designed to help boys and girls grow in faith, character, leadership, service, and practical life skills while enjoying outdoor adventures and building strong friendships.

Trail Life USA Troop NY-1613 is a Christian outdoor adventure, character, and leadership program for boys in grades K-12. Trailmen participate in activities such as camping, hiking, outdoor skills, service projects, leadership development, and advancement opportunities, all while being encouraged to grow into godly young men.

American Heritage Girls Troop NY-0408 provides a Christ-centered program for girls that focuses on faith, service, leadership, life skills, outdoor activities, and character development. Girls have opportunities to earn badges, serve their community, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Our Open House will give families an opportunity to meet our leaders, learn how the programs work, see some of the activities we offer, and find out how their children can become involved.

We are also looking for Christian adults who would be willing to serve as leaders, assistants, or volunteers. You do not have to be an outdoor expert or have years of scouting experience. What matters most is having a heart for young people, a willingness to serve, and a desire to help the next generation grow in their faith and character. Training and support are available for those who would like to become involved.
