The Oswego State men’s basketball team defeated Geneseo, 95-84, on Tuesday night to advance to the SUNYAC Semifinal.

The fifth-seeded Oswego State men's basketball team bowed out of the SUNYAC Championship in the semifinal round with a 89-76 loss against top-seeded Plattsburgh on Friday night in Memorial Hall.

The nationally-ranked Oswego State baseball team earned a thrilling 8-7 extra-inning victory in its season-opener at Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon. Oswego – ranked No. 11 in the D3baseball.com poll and No. 15 by Collegiate Baseball magazine – is now 1-0 while the Marlins fall to 5-3.

The No. 11/15 Oswego State baseball team split its doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at Christopher Newport. In its first game of the day, Oswego defeated Susquehanna in a 14-8 slugfest.

Courtney Ameele of the women’s basketball team has been named to the All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Second Team, as voted on by league coaches.

Jamir Ferebee and Tyler Pierre of the men’s basketball team have been selected to the All-State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Team, as voted on by league coaches.

The Oswego State softball team split a pair of games to open the season on Saturday. First, the Lakers defeated the College of New Rochelle in dominating fashion, 16-0. In their second game, the Lakers fell to No. 13 Randolph-Macon, 9-2. With the split, Oswego opens its season at 1-1 before heading to Florida for its eight-game slate.

The Oswego State softball team split its two games on Tuesday. Oswego opened the day by defeating Washington College, 4-1. In game two, the Lakers fell to Webster, 4-2.

The Oswego State softball team split its two Thursday contests on the second-to-last day of the Sunkissed Games. First, the Lakers downed Eastern Connecticut State University, 8-7, in an extra-inning thriller. The Lakers were unable to top Arcadia though, falling 9-4.
