The Oswego State women's track and field team placed 13th out of 18 teams at the Golden Eagle Run hosted by Brockport on Saturday.
Emily Shaben kicked the meet off at the track, placing in the 400 meter dash. The sophomore took sixth place with a time of 1:02.45 earning the Lakers three points. Next to place for Oswego was Abigail Boyce, who took fourth in the 60 meter hurdles. Boyce earned a place in the finals with a time of 9.82 in the prelims and then bettered that time by .09 seconds in the finals.
In the distance events, Lauren McNamara took 12th in the 5K, Setting a personal record by almost 20 seconds with a time of 19:38.62.
On the field. Valeria Kudinov had a good showing in the high jump, capturing seventh place with a height of 1.48 meters. Boyce would take home another four points in the triple jump, setting a distance of 10.78.
Women's track and field will hit the track again at 10 a.m. on Saturday as the team travels to Ithaca for the Bomber Invite.
