Before she could vote, she took an oath to defend the United States of America, spending six years giving back service to the country she loves.
After returning home from Afghanistan, she became a teacher for underprivileged youth, while raising her two daughters in Lockport, NY. In 2025 Elissa was working for the Department of Foreign Affairs assisting veterans in securing benefits they deserved, when she was abruptly fired because of Elon Musk’s coordination of DOGE. Since then, she has been deeply involved in community work and announced her candidacy for Congress.
Claudia Tenney has been a long-time supporter of Donald Trump. She has continually aligned herself with his policies, his actions, and him personally far beyond what many consider normal. Many believe it has to do with her desire to secure some special appointment in his administration. Her actions have included her signature proposed legislation to make his birthday a national holiday, among other moves that have little to do with helping her constituents here in Oswego County.
New Yorkers deserve a Representative who will speak truth to power. Claudia Tenney has chosen fear, distortion, and loyalty to Donald Trump over honesty with the people of NY‑24. Her constituents know that now more than ever. And Oswego County certainly deserves better.
