The Oswego State women's soccer team mounted a late comeback that fell just short at Plattsburgh on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 2-0 in the 82nd minute the Lakers cut the deficit in half with what proved to be its lone goal of the game.
- Chloe Lonergan sent a free-kick that the goal punched off of the crossbar.
- Audrey Burbidge collected the rebound and immediately shot, again finding the crossbar.
- The senior gathered the ball and lifted it over a defender where sophmore Lynsey Roth deflected it just inside the right post for a tally.
- Plattsburgh's first two goals came in the 72nd and 73rd minutes before adding an insurance goal in the 90th minute.
- Laker goalie Emma Allen made 10 saves in the loss.

Oswego stays on the road at 1 p.m. on Saturday as they travel down the road in the North Country to face the Bears of Potsdam.
