The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) released its 2014 Division III Upstate Women's Soccer All-Star Teams, recognizing two members from the Oswego State squad. Senior teammates Bri Dolan and Georgia Traynor both earned second team accolades in the region.
Both captains of the Lakers, Dolan and Traynor took home All-SUNYAC First Team honors following the 2014 campaign. The ECAC Second Team nod is Traynor's second-straight while it is Dolan's first appearance on the list.
As a defender, Dolan anchored a solid back all season while also contributing a goal and an assist as a starter in all 16 of the Lakers' contests. For her career, the Fayetteville native finished with eight goals and seven assists for 23 points. She had a game-winning goal in each of her first two seasons at Oswego and helped lead the Lakers to their first conference postseason appearance in over a decade in her junior year.
Traynor, playing midfield in her senior season, took the majority of Oswego's corner kicks during the campaign, including one that curved into the net for the game-winning goal against Potsdam on Oct. 3. She finished the year with four points on a goal and two assists, bringing her career totals to two goals and nine assists for 13 points. Traynor had four helpers in her junior year, teaming with Dolan to help lead the Lakers back to the SUNYAC Championship tournament for the first time since 2002.
