The Oswego State men's tennis team served up a shut out of Elmira College to open its 2018-19 season at home on Monday.
Oswego cruised through eight of the matches and won a superset in singles to pick up the ninth point.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vlad Djuraskovic was dominant at first singles, not surrendering a single game to his counterpart.
- Djuraskovic paired with Brian Emigholz at first double, dropping just two games for a six-point margin of victory.
- Emigholz held down the second singles slot, allowing his opponent to just a combined five games in a straight-set win.
- Alex Mintz, Daniel Maslowski and Seth Stopler won at third, fifth and sixth singles, combining to give up just four games out of a possible 40.
- Anthony Salerno had the nail-biting match of the day, dropping the first set in a tiebreak before evening the match with a 6-1 second set.
- In a superset to decide the third singles victor, Salerno narrowly outdueled his opposition, 10-8.
- Salerno joined with Curtis Farmer for a win at second doubles while Mintz paired with Justin Scuderi for a third doubles triumph.

The Lakers will remain home at 3 p.m. tomorrow when they host Daemen College.
