The Oswego State men's ice hockey team (21-4-0) slipped one spot to No. 3 in the USCHO.com Division III and two spots to No. 6 in the D3hockey.com polls after completing the regular season this past weekend.
In the USCHO.com poll, the Lakers received 246 votes to sit in third, which is two votes behind UW-Eau Claire in second. Norwich stayed in first with 16 first-place votes, while Bowdoin and St. Norbert round out the top five.
The D3hockey.com poll has Oswego State earning 199 votes, behind Hobart in fifth. Norwich kept its' top spot with 18 first-place votes. Utica, UW-Eau Claire and St. Norbert are ranked between Hobart and Norwich.
Plattsburgh is ranked ninth in both polls, while Geneseo received 13 votes in the USCHO.com poll and nine votes in the D3hockey.com poll.
The Lakers host the lowest remaining seed in the SUNYAC playoffs following the results of Wednesday's contests on Saturday at 7 p.m.
