Laughter Takes Center Stage at the Frances Marion Brown Theater

On July 9th, the Oswego Players treated local senior citizens to a special dress rehearsal of Unnecessary Farce.

And the result? Nonstop laughter from curtain rise to final bow!

Set in a seedy motel room, this fast-paced comedy features two hilariously cops, three bumbling crooks, and one suspiciously shady mayor. With slamming doors, and comedic chaos at every turn, the cast had the audience in stitches throughout the performance.

iHeart Oswego gave the production a glowing five-star review, and it’s easy to see why. The timing, the energy, and the sheer fun of it all made for an unforgettable evening.
