Oswego County Offers Free Transportation to ‘Balloons Under the Moon’ August 19
OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Department of Mobility Management partners with the Town of Granby to offer free park-n-ride transportation to “Balloons Under the Moon” in Granby on Wednesday, Aug. 19.

The Oswego State women's ice hockey team allowed two third-period goals which led to a 3-1 loss at Buffalo State on Friday afternoon. With the conference defeat, Oswego goes to 9-6-3 overall and 5-5-3 in the ECAC Women's West. The host Bengals improve to 14-4-0 and 8-3-0 with their victory.
The Oswego State women's basketball team fell 81-44 to visiting Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego's loss drops its record to 3-14 overall with a 1-9 mark in SUNYAC competition. The Red Dragons, who were third in the conference standings entering Saturday's contest, improved to 12-5, 8-2.
The Oswego State men's basketball team opened on a 13-0 run and never trailed on its way to a 80-72 win over Oneonta on Saturday afternoon in Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego's victory improves its overall record to 12-5 but, most importantly, pushes its SUNYAC record to .500 (5-5) after starting 1-4. Oneonta drops to 11-6 on the year and 6-4 in league play.
The Oswego State women's ice hockey was handed its second-straight loss from Buffalo State this weekend, falling 2-0 Saturday afternoon at the Buffalo State Ice Arena. With the loss the Lakers move to 9-7-3 overall and 5-6-3 in the ECAC West. The Bengals improve to 15-4-0 on the season and 9-3-0 in the conference.
The Oswego State women's basketball team dropped a 55-40 contest at Geneseo on Tuesday. With the defeat, the Lakers fall to 3-15 overall and 1-10 in conference play while the Knights, the SUNYAC's top team, improves to 14-4, 9-2.
The Oswego State women's basketball team could not overcome a nine-point halftime deficit on its way to a 75-54 loss to Fredonia on Friday night at Max Ziel Gymnasium. Oswego's overall record falls to 3-16 with the loss and 1-11 in the conference. Fredonia progresses to 14-6 on the year and 9-4 in the SUNYAC.
