The Oswego State women's basketball team (13-4 8-3, SUNYAC) avenged an early season loss when it defeated the Blue Knights of Geneseo (14-5, 10-3, SUNYAC), 59-54, Tuesday night, Jan. 29, at Max Ziel Gymnasium.

Oswego State men's ice hockey player David Titanic (Markham, Ontario) has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27, 2013.
Oswego State pole vaulter Brittany DalCais (Hewitt, N.J.), a sophomore on the women's indoor track and field team has been named the SUNY Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27, 2013.
The Oswego State Intercollegiate Athletics department has been named the national winner for the Jostens/National Association Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) Community Service Award in the category of "Array of Projects" completed during the 2011-12 academic year.
Andrew Minnick (Latham, N.Y.), a junior on the swimming and diving team, and Brittany DalCais (Hewitt, N.J.), a sophomore on the women's indoor
track and field team, have been named the Oswego State Athletes of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27.
The Oswego State women's ice hockey team (10-9-1) ran into a hot goalie in Stevenson's Sarah Modzelewski Sunday afternoon, Jan. 27, as the Mustangs (6-9-1) held off the Lakers in a 1-0 decision at the Campus Center Ice Arena. Modzelewski tallied 29 saves for her second shutout of the season.
The Oswego State men's basketball team (13-4, 6-4 SUNYAC) was outscored 9-3 down the stretch by Cortland (14-3, 8-2 SUNYAC) in a 75-69 conference loss Saturday night, Jan. 26, at Max Ziel Gymnasium.
For the second night in a row, David Titanic (Jr., Markham, Ontario) provided a big lift for the No. 4/6 Oswego State men's ice hockey team (17-3-0, 10-1-0 SUNYAC) with a pivotal goal.
The Oswego State women's basketball team (13-4, 7-3 SUNYAC) held the Cortland (6-10, 4-6 SUNYAC) offense to just 11 points in the first half, causing 11 turnovers in the stanza en route to a 51-35 home win Saturday night, Jan. 26.
