The Oswego State men`s cross country team finished strongly in Saturday`s Don Masterson Invitational, held by the Lakers at Hidden Field. The squad placed fourth, averaging a time of 26:00.2 for the 7.75K race.
Senior Nick Montesano took the top spot for the Lakers, finishing seventh overall with a time of 25:30.1, with a mile pace of 5:18.
Also placing in the top 20 were Tyler Morris, who finished 11th with a time of 25:39.2, and Colin Greenseich, who placed 17th, clocking in at 25:49.4.
The race boasted 165 runners from 15 different teams, including an Oswego alumni team.
Oswego's next meet is at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.
