
The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team were defeated 184-89 by Geneseo on Saturday afternoon at Laker Pool. With the loss, the Lakers move to 2-7 on the year. Geneseo improves to 9-2.
Natalie Brophy earned four points for the Lakers, as she took second place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.10. Brophy also combined with Maya Kaplan, Sabia Filiaci and Emily Doe to take third in the 200-yard medley relay. Emily Burton nabbed three points in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in with a time of 5:35.89. Emily Karszes also took home three points after she finished the 200-yard breast stroke in 2:46.51.
Women's swimming and diving will be back in the pool at 2 p.m. on Saturday, taking on Potsdam at home.
