The State Univeristy of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) named Bailey Waterbury of the Oswego State women's soccer team its Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 13, 2013.
Waterbury was a big part of the Lakers comeback win against Fredonia. She stopped a defensive clear attempt and quickly settled the ball, shooting past the Blue Devils keeper to knot the game at 1-1 in the first half. The goal was her first of the season.
The sophomore then distributed her SUNYAC-leading sixth assist to Tia Segretto who scored the eventual game-winner in the 36th minute. Waterbury has also been named Oswego's Female Athlete of the Week for her efforts.
Waterbury and the Lakers will return to action at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, when they travel to take on The College at Brockport for a SUNYAC contest.
