The Oswego State men's ice hockey team moved up to No. 4 in the USCHO.com Division III and down to No. 6 in the D3hockey.com polls this week after sweeping Cortland and Hamilton this past weekend. In the USCHO.com poll, the Lakers received 219 votes for fourth. Norwich moved back into first place with 11 first-place votes followed by St. Norbert in second, Bowdoin in third, and Hobart in fifth.
The D3hockey.com poll has Oswego State earning 215 votes, behind Hobart in fifth. Norwich climbed back to the top spot with nine first-place votes. St. Norbert, Bowdoin, and Utica are ranked between Norwich and Hobart.
Other SUNYAC teams listed in the poll include Plattsburgh, which is ranked ninth in both polls, and Geneseo, which is ranked 15th in the USCHO.com poll and received 12 votes in the D3hockey.com poll.
Oswego State (15-3-0, 8-1-0 SUNYAC) hosts Brockport on Friday and Geneseo on Saturday. Both games start at 7 p.m.
