On Friday, Fulton Community Basketball brought in water slides and a bubble machine to celebrate the end of their first of two weeks of free summer camp-style sports programming at the Fulton War Memorial.
The Oswego State women’s ice hockey team tied No. 1/2 Plattsburgh, 2-2, at the Marano Campus Center Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Oswego State men’s ice hockey team shut out the Fredonia Blue Devils, 5-0, on the road on Saturday night. With the victory, the Lakers improve to 16-3-2 on the season and 11-0-1 in SUNYAC play, while the Blue Devils fall to 9-9-3 overall and 5-7-0 in conference action.
The No. 4/4 Oswego State men's ice hockey team (16-3-2 overall, 11-0-1 SUNYAC) will host the No. 7/7 Geneseo Knights (15-4-3 overall, 8-2-3 SUNYAC) at 7 p.m. on Friday night in the Marano Campus Center Arena. Friday will also be Residence Hall Night, where Resident Hall Advisors are encouraged to bring their residents to the game.
David Richer of the No. 4/4 Oswego State men's ice hockey team and Olivia Ellis of the Oswego State women's ice hockey team were named to D3hockey.com's National Team of the Week for the week ending Feb. 4.

The No. 4/4 Oswego State men’s ice hockey team defeated No. 7 Geneseo, 4-2, in a thriller at home on Friday night. Mitch Herlihey led the way with two goals, earning a spot in the Oswego history books by becoming the 56th player in program history with 100 career points.
The nationally-ranked Oswego State men's ice hockey team closed out its final road trip of the regular season with a 4-1 victory at Brockport on Saturday night. A night after clinching its second-straight SUNYAC regular season title, the Lakers showed no signs of slowing down, improving to an unbeaten 13-0-1 in the league and 18-3-2 overall. Brockport is now 11-12-1 on the year and 5-9-1 in conference play.

With the victory, Oswego improves to 10-11-2 on the season and 6-7-1 in conference action, while Cortland falls to 7-14-2 overall and 2-13-1 in NEWHL play. The win secures the Lakers the third seed in the NEWHL.
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Mitch Herlihey of the No. 3/4 Oswego State men's ice hockey team as its Athlete of the Week and David Richer as its Goalie of the Week for the week ending on Feb. 11. Mariah Madrigal of the Oswego State women's ice hockey team has also been named the Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) Goalie of the Week.
