The Oswego State swimming and diving teams fell to the defending SUNYAC champion Geneseo Blue Knights Saturday, Jan. 26, to close out the home portion of their schedule.

     The Oswego State women's ice hockey team (9-8-1) controlled play from start to finish as the Lakers defeated Stevenson (5-8-1), 5-1, Saturday afternoon, Jan. 26, at the Campus Center Ice Arena.

    Senior Blake Fisher pushed his win streak to nine matches, but it would not be enough as the Oswego State wrestling team (3-8) lost to Oneonta, 36-6, Saturday afternoon, Jan. 26.

     A pair of late first- and second-period goals provided the separation the No. 4/6 Oswego State men's ice hockey team (16-3-0, 9-1-0 SUNYAC) needed before finishing strong in a 5-1 win over Brockport (4-13-2, 3-7-1) Friday night, Jan. 25, at the Campus Center Ice Arena.

     Fresh off of the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Championships, the Oswego State wrestling team (3-7) suffered a 41-5 setback to Brockport (4-1) Wednesday night, Jan. 23.

     The Oswego State men's and women's swimming and diving teams fell to the Cortland Red Dragons Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 23, at Laker Hall. The final score on the men's side was 141-99 in favor of the visitors, while the Red Dragons bested the Laker women by a score of 139-86.

     Freshman Kyle Covley (Penfield, N.Y.) poured in a career-high seven three-pointers en route to 29 points, leading the Oswego State men's basketball team (13-3, 6-3 SUNYAC) past host New Paltz (6-10, 4-5 SUNYAC), 80-78, Tuesday night, Jan. 22.

     The Oswego State women's basketball team (12-4, 6-3 SUNYAC) nearly erased a 13-point, second-half deficit, but came up short in a 56-53 loss to unbeaten New Paltz (15-0, 9-0 SUNYAC) Tuesday night, Jan. 23.

     The Oswego State men's ice hockey team moved up to No. 4 in the USCHO.com Division III and down to No. 6 in the D3hockey.com polls this week after sweeping Cortland and Hamilton this past weekend.
